P-Secure strengthens board of directors and advisory board
P-Secure strengthens its board of directors and advisory board with a number of high-profile figures from Danish defense, public management and the IT industry.
Former Chief of Defence Flemming Lentfer joins the company's board of directors. At the same time, Peter Lorens Ravn joins as deputy chairman of the board. In addition, former General Anders Mærkedal, who is currently the director of the Danish Building Authority, joins as a special advisor to P-Secure's advisory board.
Peter Lorens Ravn has a long career in the IT industry behind him, including as CEO of SimCorp and chairman of the board of directors of Systematic. He has worked for a number of years with the development and scaling of international software companies and brings solid experience to the board's work.
With the implementation of the EU's CER directive, we see an increased need for standardization of background checks across sectors - otherwise the task becomes overwhelming for individual companies and authorities. We have a close collaboration with the industry and are constantly adjusting our development to match the local needs in the different sectors, and we are working to improve sparring with the public authorities. Therefore, it is good to have some experienced people on board so that we can focus time and resources.
We are the only company in Europe to offer a standard software for structured background checks, which is in operation at more than 100 companies and authorities, and which can be quickly implemented across sectors and borders and adapted to local needs. Through a new standard for background checks, our ambition is to contribute to protecting Europe's critical infrastructure and save both companies and authorities from unnecessary administration.
