In cases where an additional manual investigation is required — either because your organization does not possess the necessary expertise to make a final assessment, or because the available data from a specific country is limited — you can always connect an analysis team to the case.
This team can come from P-Secure, or from one of our approved partners who themselves use the P-Secure platform. Settlement is done directly between you and the approved partner.
Supplementary background investigation checks are a specialist-based add-on to P-Secure’s automated background checks when there is a need for further clarification or a more in-depth risk assessment of a candidate.
The check is carried out by P-Secure’s OSINT specialists and is intended to identify matters that the customer should be aware of in the further process with the candidate, whether the candidate is being considered for employment, as a supplier, or as a consultant.
All case handling and reporting take place in P-Secure, ensuring that data remains within the system. P-Secure only reports on matters that are relevant to the case, and reporting is always delivered in a clear and accessible format that can quickly be translated into action in the customer’s further process with the candidate.
A supplementary background check may, for example, include a review of social media, media coverage, including adverse media, relations, security awareness, conflicts of interest, and other relevant matters. The customer can specify the focus of the check in P-Secure.
In order for P-Secure to carry out a supplementary background check, the candidate must first have completed an automated background check in P-Secure. On this basis, P-Secure has a solid foundation of verified information to work from, including ID, basic information, CV, business roles, etc. For this reason, supplementary background checks can be carried out quickly and efficiently.
The supplementary background check includes information related to conduct, integrity, reputation, conflicts of interest, or potential security risks.
Based on the check, P-Secure also assesses whether there are grounds for recommending a security interview.
Supplementary background checks can be purchased as a subscription service. When entering into the agreement, the customer estimates its expected annual need in terms of the number of supplementary background checks. The solution ensures quick and easy access to supplementary background checks when the need arises.
Where a subscription agreement is in place, P-Secure sends a link to the candidate no later than 24 hours after receiving the request for the supplementary background check. The in-system report is prepared for the customer’s review no later than 48 hours after the candidate has provided consent to the check.
The price per supplementary background check under the subscription is DKK 6,250 per check.
If the need is limited and there is no specific deadline for completing the task, supplementary background checks can also be ordered individually without a subscription. The price is DKK 10,000 per check, and different terms apply in terms of response times and readiness, compared with the subscription service.
