How P-Secure protects personal data and CPR numbers at a time of heightened focus on data security
On 9 October 2026, the Danish Ministry of Research, Education and Digitalisation issued a formal reminder of the rules for companies with access to CPR data (Danish personal identification numbers). P-Secure has reviewed the reminder and can confirm that the security measures and controls we administer in connection with our access to CPR data support the requirements it highlights.
Protecting personal data is a core responsibility at P-Secure. Read more about the security measures we use to protect personal data and CPR numbers throughout the background check process.
At P-Secure, we process personal data every day in connection with background checks. We are currently seeing growing interest in how data is handled and protected, and have therefore sent a notice to all users of the platform.
