The update is expected to be rolled out starting 17 September 2026.

Updated Phone Hours

Restore Deleted Items

It is now possible to restore items, such as cases or documents, that have been deleted by mistake. When an item is deleted, it is no longer removed permanently right away. Instead, it is retained for a period of time before being permanently deleted, allowing it to be restored if needed.
‍
This functionality applies to:

- Cases
- Domains
- Files and documents
- API keys
- Screening types

By default, deleted items can be restored for up to 30 days. After that period, they are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. The retention period can be adjusted to 1, 30, 60, 90, or 120 days under the Recently Deleted settings.
How to Restore Deleted Content
1. Go to Settings
2. Select Recently Deleted
3. Locate the item you want to restore
4. Click Restore

New Screening Category: Declaration

We have introduced a new screening category that allows you to add declarations which candidates must read and acknowledge as part of the background screening process.

The declaration can be fully customized with your own title, description, and content, making it suitable for specific requirements such as employment conditions, security instructions, compliance notices, or similar purposes.

This feature was originally developed to support requirements related to security clearance processes, where reading and acknowledging a security briefing is mandatory.

You can make the declaration mandatory, requiring candidates to confirm that they have read and understood it before proceeding. When marked as mandatory, the declaration is automatically incorporated into the candidate's Declaration of Honor.

The screening category is not enabled by default. Customers interested in using this functionality should contact servicedesk@p-secure.com for activation.

Swedish Language Support and New Language Settings

We have expanded P-Secure's language capabilities, allowing candidates to complete the screening process in Swedish.

P-Secure now supports the following candidate languages:
- Danish
- English
- Swedish

For users and administrators, the available interface languages remain Danish and English.

You can also configure a default language for candidates, ensuring that the application process automatically opens in the preferred language (Danish, English, or Swedish). This is particularly useful if the majority of your candidates come from a specific country or language group.

Candidates may still switch freely between supported languages during the process.

Please note that customer-specific content such as welcome emails, welcome texts, privacy notices, declarations, and other custom texts are unique to your organization and are not automatically translated into Swedish. If Swedish is enabled, you will receive a reminder to update these texts accordingly.
How to Enable Additional Languages
1. Go to Settings
2. Select Languages
3. Enable the desired languages
4. Choose a default language from the dropdown menu
5. Click Save Settings
6. Go to Texts
7. Switch the language to Swedish
8. Add and adjust the relevant translations
9. Click Save Changes

New Support Feature Directly in P-Secure

Getting help from P-Secure Support is now easier and faster.

Instead of sending a separate email, you can now create a support case directly within P-Secure.

When a support case is submitted, the relevant case is automatically shared with the P-Secure Support team for a limited period, enabling our specialists to understand the issue more quickly and provide assistance.

The feature can be used for both individual cases and multiple cases at once.

If you contact us by phone regarding a specific case, you may also be asked to share it using this feature.
How to Create a Support Case
1. Right-click a case
2. Select Support
3. Describe the issue
4. Click Send

Assigning Cases to the Analysis Team

For customers who use supplementary background investigations and security interviews, the process for assigning cases to the P-Secure Analysis Team has changed slightly.

Instead of using Assign, you should now select Support, after which the case will become visible to the Analysis Team.
