Safety and efficiency at Greenland's airports will take a big step forward on June 1, 2024. From this date, the Danish Transport Authority will introduce new regulations requiring extensive background checks on all employees at airports and their suppliers in Greenland. This change marks an important milestone for safety, but at the same time raises questions about the practical challenges traditionally posed by manual processes.
